Brody Roa Racing

Garden Grove, California’s Brody Roa is fast becoming one of the major stars in West Coast sprint car racing.  The veteran driver, who won the 2019 USAC Southwest Championship, is one of the favorites to capture the 2023 USAC/CRA title.  For the 2023 racing season, BR Performance has joined forces with Tom and Christy Dunkel of Inland Rigging to form a super team. During the year, he will focus on the USAC/CRA Series and race other select events.

Roa’s racing endeavors began as a 14-year-old in kart racing and he quickly reeled off four karting championships.  In 2009, the then 18-year-old was crowned USAC California Focus Midget champion.  One year later, he jumped up the ladder to sprint cars and was named Ventura Racing Association “Rookie of the Year.”  In 2012, Roa finished third in the USAC/CRA standings and earned the series’ “Most Improved Driver Award.”  Since then, he has never finished out of the top 10 in USAC/CRA points.

In 2015, with his reputation as a top caliber driver continuing to grow, he won the prestigious “Western World 360 Championship” in Arizona.   The following season, he captured two main events and only finished out of the top ten two times on his way to a hard-earned title in the USAC West Coast Series.  In 2017, in addition to placing second in the USAC/CRA championship, he won a series main event at the Santa Maria Raceway.  In November, he backed that up with a preliminary night victory against the toughest field of the year in the combined USAC National/CRA 22^nd Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals.
