(Buena Park, CA, April 3, 2018) After having been off for nearly a month, 2016 USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series Champion Brody Roa and his BR Performance team will be headed to Keller Auto Speedway at the Kings Fairgrounds in Hanford, California for the USAC West Coast Series race this Saturday night.
Two years ago, when Roa won the USAC West Coast Series championship, Keller Auto Speedway handed the Garden Grove, California driver a mixed bag of results. On one hand, one of the two main events he won on the way to the title came on the Central California 3/8 of a mile clay oval. On the other hand, his only two finishes outside of the top ten in his championship season came in the other two appearances on the same track. Last year, at USAC/CRA’s only event at Keller, he finished sixth in the main event.

In his three starts between USAC/CRA and the USAC West Coast Series thus far in 2018, the 27-year-old already has a win in Las Vegas and a fourth-place finish in Peoria, Arizona. In one other race, he lost a wheel and finished 19th at Las Vegas. Two other races were rained out.
Saturday’s race will begin a busy stretch for Roa and the BR Performance crew with four races in five weeks. On April 14th, the team will trek to the Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California. One week later on April 21st, they will be in action at Perris Auto Speedway. After one week off, they will head to the Ventura Raceway on May 5th. All three of those races are in the USAC/CRA Series where Roa finished second in points in 2017 and currently sits sixth in the championship standings after one race this year.
